Pear has a teeny tiny surface crack on underside of the handle. It's really very small and not deep - doesn't effect functionality but regardless, is a tiny flaw so I've discounted it :)

My ceramics are fired to 1220 degrees celcius and are pretty damn sturdy!
All pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe :)
Any pieces that have gold or platinum lustre added are not dishwasher safe and are best to be handwashed (the lustre will scratch off in the dishwasher over time)
